MUSC 2400
MUSC 2400 is the lower-division course for prospective B.M. in Music Education or Composition majors whose principal instrument is voice. Students in these two degree tracks take this course until they have successfully completed the BMQE or Sophomore Barrier. For a current syllabus for MUSC 2400, click here.
MUSC 2500
MUSC 2500 is the lower-division course for prospective B.M. in Voice Performance majors and for B.A. in Music majors whose principal instrument is voice. Students in the B.M. in Voice Performance track take this course until they have successfully completed the BMQE or Sophomore Barrier. MUSC 3500
MUSC 3500 is the elective upper-division course for B.A. in Music majors whose principal instrument is voice. B.A. in Music students who have completed four semesters of MUSC 2500 with a grade of C or better may enroll in MUSC 3500 (enrollment for more than 4 semesters of MUSC 3500 requires permission of the instructor). MUSC 4400
MUSC 4400 is the upper-division course for B.M. in Music Education or Composition majors whose principal instrument is voice. Pre-requisite: Successful completion of the appropriate BMQE or Sophomore Barrier. For a current syllabus for MUSC 4400, click here.
MUSC 4500
MUSC 4500 is the upper-division course for B.M. in Voice Performance majors. Pre-requisite: Successful completion of the appropriate BMQE or Sophomore Barrier. For a current course syllabus for MUSC 4500, click here.
MUSC 1500
MUSC 1500 is the course for Music majors and minors who are studying voice as a secondary instrument. Pre-requisite: Permission of the instructor and department. For a current syllabus for MUSC 1500, click here.
MUSC 1310
MUSC 1310, Class Voice, is the introductory course in voice and vocal methods for Music Education majors with an instrumental emphasis and can be taken by students outside of the Music major on a space-available basis with permission of the instructor. Dr. Zeller and Dr. Howell sometimes team-teach this course; however, Dr. Zeller is not teaching this course this semester.
