  Go to:  http://turnitin.com

To set up your account:

Click “New Users" at the top right of the page.

Select user type: student.
Type in your class ID number:

 ENGL 1101 10:30 a.m. = 2237389
 ENGL 1101   1:30 p.m. = 2237557
 ENGL 1101   4:30 p.m. = 2237572

Type in your class password:  English1
Enter a valid email address.
Enter English1 as your password.

Create your user profile: name/country/state.
Select a secret question.
Agree to the license terms.
At “finish” click “Enter the wizard and login.”

To submit your paper, click on your class name.
Click the “submit” button for the appropriate assignment.
Browse your drives to find your file.
Highlight the filename and and click “open."
Give your paper a submission title.
Click “submit.”
Verify:  “Yes, submit.”

You will receive a printable digital receipt for your paper. 
Click “Logout.”

To check your paper:

Go into the program till you can see where your submitted assignment is.
Click "Class Portfolio" (Upper left) to get your total results.  
The percentage will show up in a box under "Contents."
Click on your percentage under "Contents" to read your report.

Remember, don't panic!  The instructor has to read HOW you used the highlighted material to determine if there is plagiarism or not.

Also remember, you can only submit an assignment one time.

To post subsequent papers:
 Login using your email address and the password English1.
Click on your class name, e.g., ENGL 1101 noon.
Click the Submit button for the assignment you want to upload.

You can only submit one paper per assignment.

Follow the submission directions above.
