Research

I am presently editing a forthcoming book manuscript on the experimental documentary cinema of Paris' Left Bank Group; key directors for this study include Chris Marker, Agnès Varda, and Alain Resnais. I have also published book reviews for Film Quarterly and multiple articles on films by Agnès Varda and Alain Resnais.

Projects for the near future will consider the study of music in Sally Potter's Yes (2004) and cinematography in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998).
