I hope that you will find Psychology to be as interesting, challenging, and fascinating as I do.

Everyone has a story and every story is INTERESTING.   I look forward to learning at least part of yours.

Psychology classes are not just about learning lots of new and valuable information. You certainly will accomplish that.

I DO NOT "TEACH" PSYCHOLOGY. My Psychology classes are an EXPERIENCE.  I believe that we learn the deepest and with the most pleasure through experience.

I will work very hard to FACILITATE a learning EXPERIENCE that you will  enjoy and remember for many years to come.

Your part is to READ AHEAD.  Be prepared BEFORE CLASS. 

When you READ AHEAD you will be able to EXPERIENCE the classroom to its fullest; not being focused only on furiously copying information from Power Point Slides.

My Power Point Programs are entirely designed and 95% created by me, especially for my classes.  There are very few slides that are imported from publisher programs.

It takes many hours to add animation, sound, voice-over, and plan these programs.  They are constantly being revised each term to improve the student experience. They are intended to be EXPERIENCED. The more you have read and studied the topics ahead of class, the better the overall experience for you.

I have a very strong sense of humor and teach with no LECTURE NOTES.  Some of you may find that it takes a little time to adjust to my personal style which does not fit most students expectation of "college professor"

I want every student to succeed. I will do everything I can to facilitate your success at the level you desire. BUT, you must give me your best effort to work with.

Do your part and I will do my very best to do mine. Working Together, you will not only learn all you wanted and more, but you will look forward to each class and ,in the end, have a PSYCHOLOGY EXPERIENCE that you will remember for a life time.
