The Department of Social Sciences offers three degrees: (1) the B.S. Degree in Legal Studies, (2) the Paralegal Certificate, or (3) the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Paralegal Studies. IMPORTANT NOTE: For ALL PARA classes (excluding PARA 1101), enrollment priority is given to Paralegal majors. If space is available in PARA classes during Drop/Add, a non-paralegal major may enroll in a PARA class, so long as the student (a) has completed the required prerequisites, and (b) has cleared it with the Coordinator of the Legal Studies Program.
