Upcoming Faculty Appearances and Activities

Dr. Kitty Deering

• Will be presenting a seminar on Teaching Psychology to Undergraduates for the Emory University Postdoctoral Program in Psychology on Monday, February 8.

•  Will be giving a workshop on burnout and  compassion fatigue for the staff of the CSU Counseling Center on Friday, March 26.

Dr. Erica Gannon

• Will be co-hosting two conversation hours with Dr. Antoinette  Miller at the Southeastern Psychological Association Annual Meeting in Chattanooga on March 11.

 

Dr. Antoinette Miller

• Will be judging at several Georgia science fairs in February.

• Will be co-hosting two conversation hours with Dr. Erica Gannon at the Southeastern Psychological Association Annual Meeting in Chattanooga on March 11.

Dr. J. Celeste Walley-Jean

• Conducted a workshop entitled “Cognitive Predictors of Dating Violence and African American College Students” at the Winter Training Institute for the California Coalition Against Sexual Assault (CALCASA) on January 21.
• Is scheduled to present in the inaugural A&S faculty colloquium entitled Scholars Spanning the Globe on February 5.  The presentation is called “Portraits of Brazil: How a Teacher became a Student”
