Here is part 1 of the notes I will not be covering in class.  There is no assignment due covering these but you will be responsible for knowing the material for the exam. 

MONDAY, JULY 27 - Exam 4

WEDNESDAY, JULY 29 - Extra credit article summary due.  This will replace your lowest quiz grade.  Choose a current event article from a reputable news source or magazine that is applicable to something we have talked about in class this semester.  Write a minimum of 2 pages (must be typed, 12 point font, double spaced) summary describing the contents of the article and how it is related topics we've covered in class.  You must turn in a copy of the article with the summary to receive credit.  Points will be deducted from summaries not meeting the length requirement.
