| Bill Hearn is currently the adjunct instructor in guitar, music theory, and world music at Clayton College. He also teaches guitar and lute at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Atlanta and lute at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Bill received graduate degrees in guitar performance from Florida State University and the University of Arizona in Tucson, and was chosen three times as an international semifinalist in the Guitar Foundation of America solo competition. He has also been chosen as a performer for master-classes given by such well-known lutenists as Paul O’Dette and Hopkinson Smith. His performing credentials include three residencies as a North Carolina Visiting Artist and numerous solo and ensemble appearances in the Atlanta area. | ||
