Dr. Lamb joined the faculty in July 2008, and brings twelve years of university and six years of high school teaching experience. Her research and teaching interests focus on twentieth-century rhetorical theory, cultural rhetorical criticism, composition pedagogy, especially feminist and collaborative pedagogy, and writing program administration. Using rhetorical theory to illuminate a range of cultural practices, Dr. Lamb's publications have examined rhetorical practices ranging from literature to classroom writing and teaching. In composition studies, she focuses on the relationship among reading, writing, and thinking. She has presented numerous papers at conferences including College Composition and Communication, Rhetoric Society of America, and South Central Women's Studies Association. At Clayton State, Dr. Lamb hopes to teach a range of rhetoric and writing courses. She also directs the first-year writing program.
