This course will employ a variety of strategies in reaching our goals: lecture, discussion, small group collaboration, guest speaking, project development and presentation.

During the semester, I will be using my home page to communicate with you in a variety of ways. First of all, you can find out about the latest activities and readings for the class. From time to time I will put assignments here instead of handing them out in clss. If my e-mail communications from the class indicate that there are some areas of concern or misunderstanding regarding class assignments or materials, I might put some helpful information here over a holiday weekend or between class meetings. If there are Internet sites I want you to go to, the assignment might be posted on this home page. As you can see, there are many possible uses for the page, and I hope you will visit it often during the semester. By connecting to a printer, you can print out anything on this page should you need a "hard-copy".

This website is always under development, and it will continue to evolve during the semester. Your feedback will be helpful to me as I develop it further, so feel free to let me know what types of information would be helpful and how you think my site could be improved. I’m excited about the use of technology for instruction and hope that you are, too.
