PSYC Internships Fall 2008
Welcome to the Fall 2008 Internship experience (PSYC 4490 and 4500)! Below, you will find links to the major documents needed for the internship class this semester. The syllabus contains an overview along with information about assignments and their due dates. Attendance and participation is part of your internship grade, so roll will be taken at each class and attendance is an expectation for all four sessions. ALL FOUR CLASS MEETINGS WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY MORNINGS FROM 9:00-11:00 AM, LEC B10. All four sessions are mandatory.
Meeting 1 (Orientation): SATURDAY, AUGUST 23RD This is an extremely important session as it is an orientation to the internship.
LEARNING AGREEMENTS ARE DUE by Friday, AUGUST 29th unless other arrangements have been made. Students who do not have signed, submitted agreements by this date may be administratively withdrawn from the course.
Presentation Date 1: Saturday, November 15
Presentation Date 2: Saturday, November 22
Presentation Date 3: Saturday, December 6
FINAL DUE DATE: Friday, December 12 by NOON (Please note that grades of incomplete are only possible for students who are NOT graduating Fall, 2008).
Reflection Due Dates for Fall 08:
Reflection I: Due TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30
Reflection II: Due FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31 (BOO!!)
Reflection III: Due TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25
MENU OF DOCUMENTS TO BE DISCUSSED DURING THE INTERNSHIP ORIENTATION:
ITEMS SITE SUPERVISORS WILL USE TO EVALUATE INTERNS (NOTE: SITE SUPERVISORS WILL EVALUATE THEIR INTERNS ONLINE, BUT THIS DOCUMENT LISTS THE ITEMS THEY WILL USE TO EVALUATE STUDENTS).
