To complete the English curriculum, students pursue one of two emphases: writing or literary studies. Further details are available on separate pages, linked from the left-hand menu.
All English Majors
- Areas A-F: 60 hours
- Junior/Senior Core: 9 hours
Writing Emphasis
- Writing Core - 15 hrs.
- English Electives - 27 hrs.
- Guided Electives - 9 hrs.
Literature Emphasis
- Literature Core - 18 hrs.
- English Electives - 27 hrs.
- Guided Electives - 6 hrs.
