Fall students are welcome to look at syllabi and WebCT pages (if you can open them), but nothing is official until the first meeting of the class. Until then, I reserve the right to make last-minute changes.

Senior Seminar: The Decade of the 1960s
For a head start, read Judith Nies, The Girl I Left Behind.
(You also can watch "Mad Men" on cable TV.)
On alternate Tuesdays, in the 11:00 break, "Times Talks" about the leading news stories of the day are held in the UC. Look for the location posted on the directory in the "Main Street" hall. This is sponsored by the New York Times and organized by Political Science Prof. Joe Corrado.
---And the good news is, free pizza!
(You may write a bonus report for 2112 classes)
WebCT Maintenance Dates
On the "My WebCT" menu screen you can find the dates when WebCT will be unavailable while system maintenance takes place. There is an additional time when you will not be able to use WebCT for a few hours. Here is the official messge:
"This is an informational update regarding a change to the standard scheduled maintenance calendar. WebCT Vista (GeorgiaVIEW) will have scheduled maintenance Friday, August 22nd 10:00pm - Saturday, August 23rd 7:00am. This maintenance schedule change is necessary to facilitate improved ease of use of the application."
Senior Seminar: The research area for the Spring semester will be "The 1960s"
Some suggested reading will be posted on the syllabus page soon.
Online students
Use the green buttons at the top of the screen for most of your course information. The Syllabus All button has additional material that applies to all of my classes, although some of it will be irrelevant to online students.
