Dr. Josh Parker is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Clayton State University.

Dr. Parker's research interests include the Ecology, Population Genetics, Conservation & Management of Amphibians and Reptiles.  His recent work has involved the Landscape Genetics and Predictive Modeling of Midget Faded Rattlesnake (Crotalus oreganus concolor) populations in Wyoming.  The predictive modeling will help management agencies protect this sensitive species in the face of booming energy development in Southwestern Wyoming by identifying critical areas occupied by this species. The landscape genetics will help to identify important corridors for gene flow and connectivity between populations.
