ATTENDANCE:  Attendance is expected and required if you wish to succeed in this course. Attendance will be taken daily at the beginning of class, and you are responsible for any assignments made in class whether you are present or not. Promptness is strongly recommended since most announcements will be made at the beginning or end of class.

QUIZZES/GRADED HOMEWORKS: All quizzes will be announced. No quizzes will be made up regardless of the excuse. Any graded homework assignments will be announced and will be due at the beginning of class.

TESTS: Tentative test dates are given on the "General Information Sheet." You should plan to take all tests during class. If you miss a test, a written explanation of your absence must be provided to the instructor the day that you return to class. You should be prepared to take the makeup test the day you return to class. If possible, contact the instructor BEFORE your absence by phone or e-mail.

FINAL EXAM: Wednesday, April 28, during regular class time.
The final exam will be comprehensive. No student will be exempt from taking the final exam, and only under unusual circumstances will a student be allowed to take the final exam at any time other than the regularly scheduled time. Failure to take the final exam will result in the grade of "F" for the course.

CLASSROOM COURTESY: No visitors will be allowed in the class without prior approval of the instructor. All digital pagers and cellular phones should be turned off or at least on vibrating mode during class. If you are late to class or are going to leave early, please sit in the row closest to the door to keep the interruption to a minimum.
