Book Review Format

Five Major Elements

1-Bibliographical Information-This should come at the top of the first page, about 11/2 inches down.

Example:

Jon Meacham. Franklin and Winston. New York:Random House, 2003, pp.471.

2-The purpose of the author

3-Five points which you believe are of importance to the narrative (this is the meat of the review)

4-Bias and/or Prejudice(either positive or negative)

5-What did you think of the book and why?

No title page

Five pages double-spaced

Either "12" or "14" font

Name at the bottom of the last page with your institution
