Things to do, ch 8.1-8.11

Learn the vocabulary from ch. 8.1 – 8.11

Go through the PowerPoint on the cell cycle.

            There is a link to a game on the cell cycle if you want to play.

Go through the PowerPoint on mitosis.

I would also recommend that you look at the lab manual for lab 8.  There are some good pictures on the different stages of mitosis.  You should also go to www.cellsalive.com.

Go through the PowerPoint on cancer.

I have made up a jeopardy game for you to play.  The last two sections cover the second part of the chapter but if you do not get to it this week, then just save the power point for next week.  If you select slide show, it will allow you to answer the different questions.
