Advisement
Advisement for English majors is supervised by the
Head of the Department of English:
Every English major will be assigned a faculty
advisor. Each student must meet with the advisor once each semester
before enrolling in courses for subsequent terms. The latest English
advisement guides are available for download:
Bachelor of Arts in English -- Literature Emphasis
Bachelor of Arts in English -- Writing Emphasis
(You must have either Microsoft Word or the free
Adobe Reader on your computer to open these files.) In addition, paper copies will be available in A&S 110 and 210.
Students should complete this guide in pencil and bring it with them to their first advisement session.
