Your Name in Bold

Your
Name in Bold is a new play about boundaries and transitions. The
boundary between sacred and profane love, between virtual and real
relationships, between friendship and marriage. The drama follows
the blossoming friendship of a married woman and the intriguing
man she meets on-line. Together they forge a relationship that
defies standard categorization, and forces them to reexamine every
aspect of their lives. The production is a collaboration of
between the playwright and faculty from the new programs in
Communications and Media Studies, and Psychology and Human
Services. It features the use of internet messenger, chat rooms
and email, as well as an art installation by world-renowned
multimedia artist Edith Kelman

The installation will be constructed as part of Ms. Kelman's two
week residency in the Artists in Residence program at Clayton State University.
