Find:

        power in kW and hp

Science:

       P = DW / Dt

Solve:

        P = (4000 J) / (10 s) = 400 W

        P = (400 W)(1 kW)/(1000 W) = 0.40 kW

        P = (400 W)(1 hp)/(746 W) = =0.54 hp
