Since this is the first lesson of the course and you are receiving your syllabus on the first day of the course, the study assignment should be completed after class.
Objectives:
1. Understand the overall objectives for the course.
2. Review and understand the fundamental principles on classical physics which are of importance in modern physics.
3. Know the fundamental units of the International System (SI) used in classical physics.
4. To understand the nature and scope of modern physics and its importance.
5. To review the classical description of relative motion.
