Information on Studio Art

The goal of the art program at Clayton State University is to discover each student's individual artistic ability and prepare talented students for their future careers.

The school offers foundation studies in visual art, studio arts and art history classes. Class size is small, which allows each student the opportunity to receive individual instruction from the teacher. The facilities of the art program include ceramic & sculpture studio, painting studio and dark room.

The art program at Clayton State University has Artist in Residence Program and Student Purchase Award Program. A well-rounded art atmosphere provides students with technical and aesthetic sensibility and academic background.
