Chemistry 1211

Chemistry 1211 is the first course in a two-semester sequence covering the fundamental principles and applications of chemistry designed for science majors.  Topics to be covered include composition of matter, stoichiometry, periodic relations, and nomenclature.  High school chemistry and a pre- or co-requisite of pre-calculus (MATH 1113) is required.

This course is usually taken by science majors whose programs require the rigor of a science majors course. If you think you may be in the wrong course, consult with your advisor or the course instructor.
