Using Computers and the Internet at CSU

This page last updated 06/02/2007

The internet has become an integral part of many people's lives, and CSU clearly prides itself on our status as a notebook university (click here for CSU's notebook computer policy).  Because we expect our students to have access to a laptop computer it is important for you to know some basic guidelines for using them appropriately.  This page is set up to provide you with some of that background information and links where you can find additional resources.  Because one of the primary uses of computers is for writing papers and other class assignments, there are also some links for writing papers in science classes.  These are intended only as a basic set of references.  Because every class is different, you should be sure to check with your instructor to make sure that you are following the appropriate guidelines.

Click on any of the following links for more information.

If the answer isn't found in the following list, you should check with your instructor for more information.
