Whole pigeon, digestive organs exposed for orientation.

The birds beak has been pried open to show the glottis in the back of the throat.

This shows the esophagus and crop (both highly mangled)

In this picture, the esophagus is supported with the probe and the crop remains are visible to either side at the base of the esophagus.

This probe is on the proventricularis (stomach).  You can see the spleen to the right of the probe and the liver to the left.

This is the gizzard

This probe is on the intestines.  The picture below is a second view of the intestines.
