Review Questions:
- Why does changing the radius/diameter of a vessel have such a
large effect on the rate of blood flow?
- Why did we only change one factor at a time during the
simulations?
- From the equation, we can deduce that vessel length has an inverse
relationship with blood flow. What does this mean?
- If a person with normal blood volume receives a large infusion of
fluid, what will happen to the blood flow?
