Books in hand:
Look in Writing Guide for sample concept papers.
Look at Blakesley/MLA/In-text citations/#15 for help on citing indirect sources. Remember that if you use an author's source in your paper, you must make it clear in the signal phrase and in the in-text citation that this is a secondary or "indirect" source because only the actual author's name will appear in the Works Cited list. Make sure all of your links are connected from source to text to Works Cited.
Remember that quotes must fit grammatically within the sentence. You cannot string an introduction, a quote, and an explanation together with commas! You must use complete sentences and follow the rules for proper sentence boundaries.
