Welcome! The Clayton State Chorale is the large choral ensemble on campus.
The Chorale performs a wide variety of music of the highest quality with an emphasis on music composed in the twentieth century. The Chorale maintains a full schedule of performances, both in its home, SPIVEY HALL, as well as off campus.
In recent years the Chorale has participated in the Cathedral Concert series at the Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta, GA, traveled to Charleston, SC to participate in the ACDA regional convention, performed Poulenc's Gloria with the Atlanta Ballet, and traveled to Toronto, Ontario, winning an international choral competition.
The Chorale is a great way to make great music and new friends!
Membership is open to all students regardless of major, though some choral experience is necessary. Contact Dr. Shaun Amos in the Music Department at (770)-961-3608 or ShaunAmos@mail.clayton.edu.
Participation scholarships of $300 per semester are available to qualified students.
