For students in my Fall 2009 on-line classes: 

As stated in the University Catalog, each student must communicate with the instructor by the end of the schedule adjustment period.  For my on-line courses that communication should be by message using the Mail function for the course in GeorgiaVIEW Vista.  

If a student does not make contact with the instructor by the end of the schedule adjustment period (August 20, 2009), that student will be considered a “No Show” and will be administratively withdrawn from the course according to University policy.

If you want to purchase this bundle (the text with the access code) directly from the publisher, the ISBN is 0324608268.  Please note that this is not the same ISBN listed on the campus store web site.  The campus store has its own ISBN.

Some students prefer to buy used text books.  The ISBN for the text alone is 0324658265.  If you purchase a used text, make sure you buy the fourth edition.  A used copy probably won’t contain a valid access code for CengageNOW that will last through the semester.  So if you purchase a used text, you will probably have to buy a new access code on line from the publisher. The ISBN for that is 0324661711.  Before you buy a used text, you might find it helpful to check the total price for buying these items separately against the bundle price from the campus store and/or the publisher on line.
