My courses in GeorgiaVIEW Vista should be available to students on the first day of classes.

GeorgiaVIEW Vista Maintenance Schedule for Spring 2010.

My Spring 2010 Teaching Schedule.

For students in my Spring 2010 on-line classes:

University policy requires that each student must attend class no later than January 21 or be reported as a “No Show.”  If a student does not attend class by this date, that student will be administratively withdrawn from the course according to University policy.

Since this is an on-line course, students must confirm class participation by sending a message to the instructor using the Mail function for this course in GeorgiaVIEW Vista to satisfy the “attendance” requirement.

Please note that some class assignments will be due before this date.

TECH 3112: 100% On-line Course:  (CRN 23734-90)

The required text materials for this course can be purchased at the campus store as a bundle that contains the following two items:

Warren, Carl S.  Survey of Accounting 4e.  United States:  Cengage Learning, 2009

Access code for CengageNOW Express for 4th edition of the text.  Please do not discard or lose this card.  Students who purchase a text without an access code (as well as those who lose their cards) will be required to purchase one on line for an approximate cost of $60.

Please be aware that all of the items in this package may not be available individually, and that the total price of items purchased separately may exceed the cost of the package.

If you want to purchase this bundle (the text with the access code) directly from the publisher, the ISBN is 0324608268.  Please note that this is not the same ISBN listed on the campus store web site.  The campus store has its own ISBN.

Some students prefer to buy used text books.  The ISBN for the text alone is 0324658265If you purchase a used text, make sure you buy the fourth edition.  A used copy may not contain a valid access code for CengageNOW that will last through the semester.  So if you purchase a used text, you may have to buy a new access code on line from the publisher. The ISBN for that is 0324661711.  Before you buy a used text, you might find it helpful to check the total price for buying these items separately against the bundle price from the campus store and/or the publisher on line.
