Arts & Sciences Academic Advisement Center

Greetings from the College of Arts and Sciences Academic Advisors!

We are located in T-103 Clayton Hall. The Center generally houses four Academic Advisors. Our purpose is to provide guidance and counseling to undergraduate students as they complete the CSU Core Curriculum requirements (typically the first 45 credit hours of coursework) and to support and encourage students’ academic and general career interests.

Academic Advisement is mandatory each semester before course registration. Students must consult with their assigned advisor each semester before the “Must See Advisor” hold placed on their DUCK record is removed. Dates for specific advising periods are communicated to students through their CSU email, campus flyers, and the Academic Advisement Center website. Please refer to “Advisor Assignments” on the A&S Advising Home page to locate your advisor and review the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for answers to a number of your questions concerning academic advising.

We encourage you to browse our website which provides Core Curriculum information, helpful guides such as "Quick Tips for Academic Success" and "The Importance of Getting to Know Your Professor," as well as links to other campus resources.

We wish you the best on your academic journey.
