Academic Advisor

Provide student centered academic advisement to students that aids in the development and implementation of a targeted academic plan and assists in the establishment of a university wide academic advising plan. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze and interpret student transcripts and associated records.
  • Participate in recruitment and orientation activities.
  • Serve as liaison between the leadership team, student organizations and students.
  • Provide information to students about breadth of programs, curriculum policies and procedures and requirements and campus resources and support services.
  • Work closely with students, faculty and other university offices to identify and resolve issues that interfere with successful program completion.
  • Interpret academic regulations and serves as a resource for students, faculty and administrators on academic policies and other pertinent information.

Guidance Counselor

Provided Guidance and Counseling services to reconstituted middle school, population of approximately 380 regular and special students, including special education students. Duties included, but were not limited to:

  • Coordinated preparation and administration of Stanford 9 standardized test and interpretation of results.

  • Supervised and coordinated planning and actions of all treatment team members.
