The Ellen Glasgow Journal of Southern Women Writers, formerly The Ellen Glasgow Newsletter, is sponsored by the Ellen Glasgow Society. A peer-reviewed publication, the journal welcomes scholarly articles on any aspect of southern literature, especially the texts and contexts of southern women writers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Under a new editor, Gwendolyn Jones of Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia, The Ellen Glasgow Journal of Southern Women Writers is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of southern women writers, but also to all southern writers and to the rediscovery of neglected southern writers.
