The Award for Excellence in Chemistry is presented at the Clayton State University College of Arts and Sciences Honors Convocation each Spring to the chemistry student exhibiting potential for success in chemistry as designated by the chemistry faculty. The Award winner receives a cash award, individual plaque and his/her name permanently engraved on a perpetual plaque displayed in the Natural Sciences Office.
Students must meet the following criteria in order to be nominated for this award:

The CRC Press Chemistry Achievement Award is presented at the Clayton State University College of Arts and Sciences Honors Convocation each Spring to the most outstanding freshman chemistry student as designated by the chemistry faculty. The CRC Press Freshman Chemistry Achievement Award winner receives the CRC Press Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, a certificate and his/her name permanently engraved on a perpetual plaque displayed in the Natural Sciences Office.
