In this laboratory we will examine the application of the law of conservation of mechanical energy to rolling motion.

Objectives:

1. To experimentally verify the the moment of inertia of a solid uniform sphere about its center of mass.

2. To be able to apply the law of conservation of mechanical energy to rolling motion.

3. To continue to develop proficiency in propagation of error and error analysis.
