Fetal Skull

Here is a view of teh fetal skull from the front.  Notice the prominent suture between the two halves of the frontal bone.

The skull has been rotated upward to show the inferior side.  The front of the skull is at the top of the picture.

Here is the skull from the posterior.  The top of the picture is the top of the skull.  Seem the thick sutures between the occipital and parietal bones.

Here's the fetal skull from the superior side.  Notice the large anterior fontanel.  The top of the picture is the front of the skull.
